Un pensiero per ricordare un grande autore che si è spento ieri... Ho vissuto J.D. Salinger in tanti modi, anche solo considerando The Catcher in the Rye, le due lingue in cui l'ho letto e il bel reading a opera della Compagnia Fantasma a cui ho assistito l'anno scorso. Ora che sto per dedicare i prossimi anni allo studio della youth culture americana si impone indubbiamente una rilettura... Ma voglio approfittarne per ricordare (a me stessa e a eventuali lettori) che oltre al capolavoro che tutti conoscono almeno per sentito dire la produzione di Salinger offre anche una serie di altre piccole gemme da riscoprire: Franny & Zooey, ma anche i Nove Racconti, tra i quali ricordo in particolare il geniale "A Perfect Day for Bananafish".
